Just as the title of the album suggests, here is a collection of very calming and relaxing pieces that belongs to a genre of music known as LoFi. This style of musical trend appeals to a great many people because it delivers a nostalgic reference to the sound of music created on analog tape recording devices of the 1970s and 80s that were pressed onto vinyl discs. Some people like the sound of the saturation, warp, and scratching that LoFi can exhibit. People use it for relaxation, for studying, as an aid for falling asleep, and for similar kinds of activities. Known as music for chilling, the music in this album Is also part of the sub-genre known as "chillwave."
